Donated generously by Philip Yasskin, Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Texas A&M University, you can get lost in a world of shapes, puzzles and designs. Stop by our second floor exhibit to challenge your mind as you create many types of three-dimensional shapes.

TRAIN TABLE - Brio train elements to manipulate, connect and role-play.

VILLAGE ARTS -

Dramatic Play area - Become anything you want by dressing up or playing with puppets to create stories. Encourages social interaction and creativity.

Face Painting: Paint your own face, experiment with self-expression, creativity and role-playing with water-soluble crayons.

Easels: Creative self-expression using tempera colors on large paper.

Exploratory Art Table: Create what you will with a variety of art media and recycled products.

"The Bug" - 1970 Super Beetle is the canvas for children and adults to paint designs using tempera paint. Express yourself in a way you could never do at home!
SMALL TOWN PLAY - An area designed for children 6 months to 2 years. Soft play equipment and appropriate accessories for the very young. A video camera allows children to view themselves on a monitor.

BLOCK TABLE - Experiment with developing concepts about space. Construct roads, bridges, buildings, etc.

SOUNDS AROUND TOWN - Explore multiple sounds and musical experiences.

HEALTH AND FITNESS - An area to explore health concepts. Children experience dramatic play in assuming medical and emergency roles. (Dansby Grant Foundation)
